Camille Dillard, DO, MPH
Preventive and Family Medicine
Dr. Dillard is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her residency training in both Preventive Medicine/Public Health and Family Practice at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Long Island, NY. She received her Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University in New York City.
She has been in practice for over 10 years, completing many continuing education courses on nutrition, physical activity and exercise, environmental and occupational medicine. Much of this course work has been done through Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, American Society of Bariatric Physicians, Professional Education Services, and the American College of Preventive Medicine.
She is only one of five osteopathic physicians in the Mohawk Valley area that still practices Osteopathic Manual Medicine. She works on a collaborative basis with other physicians, health care practitioners, including chiropractors acupuncturists, and licensed massage therapists.
In addition, she was a teaching physician at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Family Practice Residency in Utica, NY as well as serving on the Committee for Integrative Medicine with other wholistic-minded practitioners in the region. She has served as health columnist for two local newspapers and has authored several other publications.
She was awarded the 2002 YWCA Woman of the Year in Health Care after being nominated by several of her patients.
On a personal note, Dr. Dillard is an avid runner. She has completed many road races over the years including the Dublin Marathon (Ireland), Crim Festival of Races (Flint, MI), Long Island Half Marathon, and The Boilermaker (Utica, NY).
